There are many ways to increase out counts during baseball match. However, three common ways that batter can get out are strike out, fly ball out, and ground ball out. Strike out is simply getting another strike after two strikes. Ways to get strikes are swinging and missing ball or just letting the ball to pass through the strike zone. Making a foul ball will increase number of strikes unless the batter has two strikes. If a batter makes a foul ball after two strikes, nothing will change. Fly ball out occurs when a batter hits the ball and any of fielders catch the ball before it bounces on ground. Ground ball out is when the ball that a hitter hit bounces on the ground, but fielder throws the ball to 1st base and 1st baser catch it before the batter reaches the 1st base. When the ground ball is too fast, has good course, or has its first bounce in outfield, it usually becomes a hit.
This is the video of Stephens Strasburg making strike outs. He is one of the rookie players playing for Washington.
